> Markdown version of https://ysanmiguel.com/about (updated 20 October 2026) # Hi, I’m Yanni. A bilingual freelance web developer, originally from Colombia and living in the UK since 2013, in the Greater Manchester area. ## Remote since 2008. I understand how to keep communication smooth and easy, whether by email, WhatsApp or video call. My focus has always been web design and development for small and medium-sized businesses, without compromising quality. My tool of choice is MODX: secure, robust and very customisable. In my experience it is far more user-friendly and adaptable than other CMS options, which makes it ideal for custom solutions. I believe in honesty, reliability and friendly relationships with clients. My goal is to deliver great results and to make the process enjoyable and supportive. ### An office with a view. I love the freedom of remote work. It lets me travel with my family in our motorhome, Mr. Jones, which doubles as my mobile office. Thanks to our Starlink antenna I can work from nearly anywhere. If we have a view of the sky, I am online and ready to help with your website. **15+** years building for the web **2013** living in the UK **EN · ES** English and Spanish **MODX** Professional Partner ## Ready for a faster site?
